The University of Fort Hare is hosting a Book Launch, Prickly Pear:  A social History of a plant in the Eastern Cape, on Wednesday 28 March 2012, at the Alice Campus' Staff Centre­­ at 15H00.The book was authored by academics Luvuyo Wotshela and William Beinart from the universities of Fort Hare and Oxford,UK respectively. Prickly Pear is based on intensive archival research, on interviews conducted by the authors in the Eastern Cape.
